Fasting On The 10th Will Remove The Sins Of The Previous Year
Abu Qatādah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about observing the fast on the 10th day of Muharram (ʿĀshūrāʾ), and he replied:
“It is an expiation for the sins of the preceding year.”
ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا:
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے محرم کی دسویں تاریخ کا روزہ رکھنے کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:
“یہ پچھلے سال کے گناہوں کا کفارہ ہے۔”
