When Life Feels Unfair | Trust The Hidden Wisdom
“Perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah knows, while you know not.”

Life’s Twist You Didn’t See Coming
Sometimes, life throws us into situations we never asked for — the job we lost, the relationship that ended, the opportunity that slipped away. It feels unfair. But this verse is a gentle reminder: what you see as a setback might be your biggest blessing in disguise.
2. The Psychological Lens
In psychology, this is called cognitive flexibility — the ability to adapt your perspective when reality doesn’t match your expectations. When you accept that you don’t see the full picture, your mind becomes more resilient. It lets go of the “Why me?” and shifts to “What might Allah be saving me from or preparing me for?”
3. Delays Are Not Denials.
- What we think is a “loss” may be protection from harm we can’t yet see.
- What feels like “waiting” may be preparation for something greater.
- And sometimes, the thing you’re desperately chasing could actually break you if you got it too soon.
4. A Heart-Calming Takeaway
Whenever life feels unfair, repeat to yourself:
“Allah knows, while I know not.”
This simple surrender removes the pressure of having all the answers and replaces it with the comfort of being guided by the One who does.
