Qur’an on the Prophet’s Gentle Nature

“And by the mercy of Allah, you dealt with them gently. And if you had been rude [in speech] or harsh in heart, they would have dispersed from around you. So pardon them, ask forgiveness for them, and consult them in matters.”

(Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:159)
