Hadith About The Month Of Safar
Narrated Abū Hurayrah:
“There is no ‘Adwa (i.e. no contagious disease is conveyed without Allah’s permission), nor is there any bad omen in birds (tiyarah), nor is there any Hamah, nor is there any bad omen in the month of Safar, and one should flee from a leper as one flees from a lion.”

Narrated Jābir ibn ‘AbdAllāh:
“There is no ‘Adwa (no transmittable disease), no ghūl (evil spirit), and no Safar.”
Reference : Sahīh Muslim , Book 39 (The Book of Greetings), Hadith 148 (numbered 2222 b
Clarifications:
Ṣaḥīḥ al‑Bukhārī 5707 includes the full phrase stating there is no bad omen in Safar, as well as the instruction to flee from a leper like fleeing from a lion
Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2222b (also catalogued as Book 39, Hadith 148) only contains the portion: “There is no contagious disease, no ghūl, no Safar,” without the section about fleeing the leper or birds
