Foundations Of Faith: Belief, Prayer And Charity
“Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them.”
Reference : Surah Al-Baqarah (2:3)
Explanation:
This verse highlights that establishing prayer is one of the first signs of true belief. The word “يُقِيمُونَ” (yuqeemoona) means to establish prayer—not just perform it. It implies regularity, sincerity, and fulfilling all its conditions. Salah is portrayed as a pillar of faith, just like belief in the unseen and charity.
