The Prophet ( P.B.U.H) Warns His kindred Of Idolatry
Qabisah ibn al-Mukhariq reported: When the verse was revealed, “Warn your closest kindred,” (26:214) the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, set out to the mountain cliffs and ascended to the highest rock. Then, the Prophet called out, “O sons of ‘Abd Manafah! I am warning you! Verily, the parable of myself is that of a man who saw the enemy and set out to guard his people, but he feared they might reach them first, so he shouted: Prepare yourselves!”
قبیصہ بن المخارق نے بیان کیا کہ جب یہ آیت نازل ہوئی کہ “اپنے قریبی رشتہ داروں کو خبردار کر دو” (26:214) نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پہاڑی چٹانوں کی طرف روانہ ہوئے اور بلند ترین چٹان پر چڑھ گئے۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے آواز دی کہ اے عبد منافہ کے بیٹے! میں آپ کو خبردار کر رہا ہوں! بے شک میری مثال اس شخص کی سی ہے جس نے دشمن کو دیکھا اور اپنی قوم کی حفاظت کے لیے نکلا، لیکن اسے ڈر تھا کہ کہیں وہ پہلے ان تک نہ پہنچ جائیں، اس لیے اس نے آواز دی: تیار رہو۔
