The Prophet Muhammad [PBUH]said: He who gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will receive the same reward as him, except that nothing will be reduced from the fasting persons reward.” [Ahmad, at-Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah, Ibn Hibbaan, Saheeh].
Abu Sa’id al Khudri RA reported: Allah’s Messenger SAW as saying: Every servant of Allah who observes fast for a day in the way of Allah, Allah would remove, because of this day, his face farther from the Fire (of Hell) to the extent of seventy years’ distance. (Sahih Muslim, Book #6, Hadith #2570)
